Parents & Families
Parents and family members play an important role in their student's transition to the University of the South Florida. We recognize the support you need as well, so we have created a separate and concurrent program just for you. The program gives you the information you need, while also providing helpful information on assisting in your student's success.
Why the fee? Your Orientation fee covers five meals throughout the two-day experience. In addition, this fee covers the cost of providing this high-quality program to family members, including publications, space reservations, and staffing.

While we encourage family members to attend, those unable to or choose not to, should look at the resources throughout this site and at the University of South Florida Parents page.
If you require ADA accommodations to attend Orientation, your student will see the option to complete a form during the reservation process. If the link was missed or your situation has changed since the time of reservation, you can still submit a request. All requests should be submitted 10 days in advance of the session.
