Bid Types

Informal Bids or Quotes are used for purchases below $75,000. Informal Bids may be solicited by telephone, mail, or fax.

 

Formal Bids & Proposals are used for procurement activities over $75,000. They remain sealed until the scheduled public opening.


Purchasing actions that are not subject to the competitive solicitation process

Vendor Selection

Purchasing & Property Services is responsible for the vendor selection procedure and ensures that the process is conducted in a fair and equitable manner. Quality, Service, Delivery and Price are important factors in the vendor selection process.
