| The
de la Parte Institute is Florida's nationally recognized research and training
center for mental health services. It researches HIV/AIDS, child welfare,
juvenile justice and homelessness prevention, to list a few. The institute
is named for a former Florida Senate President and Tampa attorney who worked
to improve Florida's social service, criminal justice and education systems.
The de la Parte Institute resides in eight buildings located north of the
Health Sciences Center (Medicine/Nursing). |
