Event Photography

University Communications & Marketing photography can also provide a photographer to cover campus events and special programs. As an auxiliary (self-supporting) department, these services are provided at a cost.

The attendance of the university president or provost at a campus event does not guarantee that the event will not incur photography charges. Please note on the photographic services price list that the hourly rate for photography increases for shoots after 5 p.m. and on weekends.

Please have the following information on hand when booking event photography.

  • Date and time the photographer will need to be present
  • Location of the event and directions if necessary
  • Parking for the event. Arrange for a convenient loading and unloading space
  • Name and info for event contact person who can provide on location logistics (identify key people, handle unexpected difficulties and organize groups)
