New Employee Orientation Information

As a new employee, you should be scheduled to attend Discover USF Orientation, within the first two weeks of your employment. If you have not been scheduled to attend, please check with your supervisor. Discover USF is our orientation program for new employees. The program is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with an hour break for lunch.

It is very important that you attend Discover USF Orientation, as you will receive valuable information about USF, obtain your new USF ID card, and receive a full presentation on all available benefit programs.

You have a 60 day period to sign up for your benefits from your date of hire. If you do not enroll within the 60 day period, you will have to wait until the next open enrollment (held in the Fall of each year, with a start date of the following January), unless you experience a qualifying status change event.
