Delegation of Authority

Human Resources is responsible for developing our compensation philosophy, strategy, and practices for the USF system, as well as providing oversight to ensure a fair and equitable program. Salary authority for pay actions has been officially delegated by the President to the Provost, Vice Presidents, and Regional Campus executives. In some cases it has been further delegated.  Authority is delegated within parameters specified for Administration , Staff , or Temporary (formerly OPS). The individuals who have this authority for Staff and Administration pay actions are listed in Salary Delegation Authority. Temporary (formerly OPS) salary authority has been further delegated as listed in Salary Re-delegation Authority Temporary (formerly OPS) or Summer Faculty Appointments This authority may not be further delegated. Pay actions that are submitted to Human Resources must be reviewed and approved by the individuals named on these lists.
