IRS Retirement Contribution Limits for 2008/2009


 

    2008/2009

Elective deferral to 403(b) Tax Sheltered Annuity

and/or Optional Retirement Plan employee contributions 

   $16,500
Elective deferral to 457 Deferred Compensation    $16,500
Limit on age 50 and over catch-up contributions   $5,500

  

You may also qualify to contribute an additional amount if you have at least 15 years of service with USF. Please contact your provider company representative to calculate if an additional amount can be contributed.

 

The University has implemented a monitoring system that will automatically turn-off your contributions once the IRS limit has been reached for the year.
