Retiree USF Perks

USF Retiree ID Card: You will receive a temporary retiree ID card in the mail shortly after retirement; take to ID card services for a permanent card.

Insurance: As a USF retiree you are eligible to continue state health and life insurance after retirement; If insurance eligibility requirements are met. Dental coverage can be continued for an 18 month period after retirement.

Library: You can continue to use the library as long as you have your retiree ID card.

Recreational Facilities: You have access to facilities on campus such as the gym, tennis courts, and other recreational facilities; some facilities may charge a fee.

Bookstore:  You are welcome to continue to use the bookstore and take advantage of their various offerings.

Parking: Retirees are eligible to purchase a “Retired” parking permit at the staff rate.  Permits may be purchased at the Parking Services Building on West Holly. If you are re-employed at USF you are no longer eligible for a retired permit; however you can exchange your retiree permit for a staff permit

Retired Faculty Listing: Retired faculty are listed in the USF phone directory.

USF Employee Discounts: Retirees can also take advantage of any discounts that are given to USF active employees that are listed on the HR website: Human Resources, benefits, discounts & perks.
