University of South Florida Staff Senate

The Dollars for Scholars Fund 520520 was established in 1994 as a Scholarship to benefit Staff enrolled in for credit classes.  More than 200 scholarships have been awarded since the program’s inception.  All donations are accepted, but the fund is primarily supported by Faculty and Staff through the Annual Campaign. 

The “Dollars for Scholars” Fund is supported by donations from Faculty, A&P and Staff.  Please help us continue this program by making a contribution to the Fund 520520 during the Faculty and Staff Campaign.

ELIGIBILITY:

Staff employees who meet all of the requirements below are eligible for the “Dollars for Scholars” Staff Scholarships. 

1. Currently working on any USF campus as a full-time Staff employee with permanent status.

2. Achieved a minimum of 3.0 overall GPA (cumulative)

3. Completed a minimum of 6 credit hours at USF during the last 3 semesters. (Fall 2008, Spring 2009,Summer 2009)

4. Must be currently enrolled for the Spring 2009 Semester.

5. Must provide a letter verifying current employment as a full-time Staff employee with permanent status from your current, immediate supervisor.  (Employment verification letter must accompany application to be considered).
