Workshops and Presentations

The Workshops and Outreach Services Program offers a two-part Student Success workshop series on a variety of topics for students. The Personal Development component includes topics such as life planning, stress management, test anxiety, relationships, overcoming self-defeating thinking, and enhancing self esteem. The Wellness component (in partnership with other campus departments) includes workshops on relationships, effective decision-making, perfectionism, procrastination, improving sleep habits, and relaxation skills.

The Counseling Center promotes “wellness” -- a positive approach to living in which you seek to achieve optimum levels of emotional and physical health, and healthy interpersonal relationships. “Personal wellness” is associated with an increased capacity for academic success as well as long-term career and life satisfaction. Team Wellness, a collaboration among Campus Recreation, Counseling Center, and Student Health Services, offers a variety of programs and services to assist students in developing a wellness-oriented lifestyle.

For more information, please see the Student Success Series workshop and groups schedule, and the Student Success Series Workshop Titles.
